The Main Event is an American film about sports entertainment and is a collaborative effort between Netflix and WWE Studios. Jay Karas, the director of Parks & Recreation, is going to direct, while WWE Studios, Susan Levison, Maggie Malina, and Richard Lowell are the producers behind the project.

We could see the release date for The Main Event at the Wrestlemania weekend, 3-5 April 2020, with the film in post-production.

The cast of ‘The Main Event’ will include Lisa Durupt, Adam Pally, Tichina Arnold, Lucie Guest, Paul Lazenby, Seth Carr, Dallas Young, Glen Gordon, Bodhi Sabongui, Aryan Simhadri, and Momona Tamada.

It will also include WWE superstars like Beth Phoenix, Corey Graves, Kofi Kingston, Seamus, and The Miz.

Is The Production Of The Main Event Started?

Filming for The Main Event began on 19 June in the summer of 2019. The filming lasted less than two months and ended on August 12, 2019.

Although the principal photography finished in August, the film has changed its status in post-production only recently. Dan Schalk, who was recently announced as editor of The Main Event, is the editor of the film.

British Columbia was the location for the Main Event shooting.
